Project Manager

Your Role & Experience
As Project Manager at Ken Harvey Homes, Greg Wilkins brings over 30 years of homebuilding experience to the team. The most rewarding part of his role is learning something new almost every day and being part of a company that’s growing quickly and committed to excellence. Greg joined KHH after seeing the energy and drive of the leadership team and their focus on quality and collaboration.

A UNC–Chapel Hill graduate, Greg’s decades of experience help him stay calm and solution-focused when challenges arise. As he puts it, “I’m rarely rattled when things go wrong—I just work to find the best solution.” If his job were a movie, it would be The Punch List: The Final Reckoning—because every detail matters.

Team & Work Culture
Greg’s colleagues would describe him as having a great sense of humor and always willing to help. He enjoys the excitement and unpredictability of each day—“it keeps the blood pumping.” One of his favorite KHH memories so far was the Parade of Homes, where he and a fellow builder worked side by side to get the homes ready— “lots of madness, but lots of fun too.”

Personal Life & Passions
Outside of work, Greg and his wife love to travel, sightsee, and catch great movies. He’s also a lifelong car enthusiast who never passes up a good car show—he even has two convertibles sitting in his garage. Many people also say he “missed his calling” thanks to his smooth radio voice.

Fun & Inspiration
Greg’s favorite quote is Peter Drucker’s: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” On his bucket list: traveling to New Zealand and relaxing in Bali. His go-to comfort food is a Honey Bun, and his best piece of advice is something he’s learned through experience—“Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.”
