Your Role & Experience
As Director of Sales for Ken Harvey Homes, John Cook guides clients through every step of the homebuilding process—from the first design meeting to the final walk-through. The most rewarding part of his role is helping families turn their vision into reality and seeing their dream home take shape. Before joining Ken Harvey Homes, John worked with several spec home builders, where customization wasn’t an option. That experience gave him a deep appreciation for KHH’s true custom approach, where each home is thoughtfully designed around the homeowner’s lifestyle and preferences.
Team & Work Culture
Approachable, motivational, and trusted, John brings both leadership and enthusiasm to the KHH team. He thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing market—staying “Fast & Curious,” as he likes to put it. One of his favorite memories so far has been the Parade of Homes, where the team’s craftsmanship and collaboration were recognized with multiple awards.
Personal Life & Passions
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Caitlynn, and their kids. Family time keeps him grounded, and when he has the chance to unwind, he’s often out on the golf course—a passion he’s had since the age of four. His dream home would sit on a golf course, complete with a pool and a detached in-law suite.
Fun & Inspiration
John lives by the motto, “If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me.” His bucket list includes playing 18 holes at Augusta and renewing his vows with Caitlynn in Hawaii for their 20th anniversary. When it comes to simple pleasures, he’ll never turn down a good bag of chips—or a trip to Dublin to enjoy a fresh pint of Guinness.
